Qualifications & Requirements:

Must Have:
• Graduates/Post Graduate

• 4-7 years of experience working on content creation (live and/or digital)

• Strong writing, editing and communication skills

• Possess incredible contacts. You can invite an interesting, eclectic and diverse group of speakers from day one

• Poised & personable, Collaborative, motivated, creative.

• Presenting and live interviewing experience

About the Role: Content Co-Curator

The Content Curator is responsible for researching, selecting and working with speakers at all TEDxGateway events. The Content Curator leads a team of speaker coordinators and researchers.

The Curator must possess a broad interest in all the topics TED covers, and must work in highlighting and bringing out the potential idea related to the field. He/she is also a ninja collaborator, working with TEDxGateway’s head curator and the allied research and curation team to bring the finest minds to our stage and help them shine. Poised and personable, comfortable onstage and off, the Curator will help to make TEDxGateway in all its forms a must-not-miss.

The Role Includes:

• Doing a deep and quick study to know what really matters now and next in the world of ideas.

• Identifying and pitching speakers for all TEDxGateway events.

• Working with speakers to help them present the most interesting ideas, coaching them to develop, improve and craft their talks, as well as distilling important ideas into accessible content

• Acting as a point of contact with TEDxGateway’s speakers to make sure TEDxGateway continues to support the work of its extensive speaker network.

• Working with the specialist curators to make sure that programs are consistently fascinating.

• Working with the Partnerships & Content teams to develop themes for partner-related events.

• Hosting TEDxGateway salons, sessions, and other TEDxGateway-related events.

• Other duties and special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

• Willingness to contribute however possible to ensure the overall effectiveness of the position.

• The individual must be a team leader with proven team leadership capabilities.

Working Hours :

Office Timings- 10 am to 7 pm

*Closer to the event we work on weekends too*
