· Full-time Requirement

· 0-3 years Relevant Work Experience in speaker management, coordination, content writing, editing & publishing is a bonus and will better improve your

chances of being shortlisted for the team

Good to Have:

· If you have already trained speakers or given talks yourself - that would be really impressive!

· Strong Researching,Writing/ Editing, Well Read & High General Awareness

· Motivated, Creative,Collaborative

· Should be well aware, understand content , make good conversations and engage with speakers

About the Role: Speaker Coordinator

· We are looking for Speaker coordinators who will work with our prospective & confirmed

speakers across multiple TEDxGateway events.·

You need to love research + writing and feel a personal stake in the future of science, design,

technology, politics, philosophy, art, and/or pop culture and demonstrate

bonafides in one or two of those fields. You will be liaising with speakers and

the team to build a high impact talk that brings ideas to life.

· We are looking for candidates with a sharp eye, an ear for language, boundless curiosity and an

attitude of getting things done to assist in the day-to-day content research,

speaker development, curation and speaker showcase/event activities.

· You will be responsible for reaching out to people with great ideas from across the world.

· You will be carrying forward the legacy of a team that has curated TEDxGateway talks for speakers

like Sonam Wangchuk, Sudharak Olwe, Arunachalam Muruganantham Sparsh Shah,

which have garnered millions of views on YouTube alone.

mission of spreading ideas.

The Role Includes:

· Research & Pitching talks and ideas on a diverse range of topics to editors and curators.

· Identifying trends and categories that allow us to strategically package talks or ideas for TED editorial channels and social media.

· Working directly with Speakers and the Core Content team for the conference.

· Research, pitch and discuss ideas for all TEDxGateway events to the team.

· Reporting to the curator, during every step of the research, curation, and coordination.

· Working with speakers to help them present the most interesting ideas and draft their talk.

· Acting as a point of contact with TEDxGateway’s speakers and helping them in drafting, presenting their talk and with any logistical need.

· Working with the curator to make sure that TEDxGateway programs are consistently fascinating and have a strong content line-up.

· Working with speakers to ensure they deliver their talks for all TEDxGateway salons, sessions, and other TEDxGateway-related events.

· Other duties and special projects as may be assigned from time to time.

Office Timings- 10 am to 7 pm
